Hope Fragrances Holiday Playlist: Music To Uplift Senses

‘ ‘Tis the season to be jolly.’

As soon as Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year sets in, your heart feels like stepping out and celebrating with friends. The celebrations are incomplete without an expansive holiday playlist.

Our lives of late are somewhat challenging and stressful but always open for an uplifting playlist. Hence, a collection of good songs that keep you joyful and motivated all through the holiday season is necessary to feed your soul.

Forget about the breakups, the happy couples around you, and things you could not do at the beginning of the year. Focus on how you can END this year on a positive note. Here’s a list of songs that you NEED to add to your holiday playlist. Get these glued to your head till the 1st of January.

#1 Dance Me To The End of Love – Madeleine Peyroux

Well, we would be happy to add classic songs, but let’s start with an unusual and fun number.

Since you want to hold your girl for a quick spin, this song is perfect for that. The upbeat music and the fun lyrics make you feel like you are celebrating Christmas (and love) in Paris.

#2 All I Want For Christmas Is You – Mariah Carey

Here’s a classic song for those who love Mariah Carey! It is one of the greatest Christmas songs that girls dedicate to their Mr. Big (refer to Sex and the City series and movie).

#3 Santa Tell Me – Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande is a breath of fresh air! Well, five good-looking women are dancing in their festive yet casual outfits. They are sporting a furry animal cap, and it all looks too good for Christmas.

The song makes you dance, and the video is adorable! You will find that this song is quite popular. When you head out for Christmas shopping, you hear it in the background at malls, restaurants, and bars.

#4 Mistletoe – Justine Bieber

Every girl in the world was crazy about Justin Bieber after his, ‘Baby’ song entered the market. Well, the singer is all grown up now, but he was 14 when he sang the ‘Mistletoe’ song.

Everyone knows that kissing under the mistletoe is a part of the Christmas tradition. Perhaps you can play this song, and whisk away the man/woman you like. Take them under the mistletoe, and plant sweet kisses.

Let this be the background song while you are AT it!

#5  Christmas C’mon — Lindsey Stirling

This hit from Lindsey Stirling’s newest album “Warmer in the Winter” features the vocal talent of Becky G.

The song is colorful and entertaining. It breaks from her usual slow-beat music and features a pop beat with a holiday feel that is perfect for dancing. I’m not sure how she does it, but Lindsey makes her violin sound amazing with the upbeat sounds of the holiday track.

#6 The Way You Look Tonight – Frank Sinatra

Frank Sinatra’s ‘The Way You Look Tonight’ had to be a part of the list. Originally, it was performed by Fred Astaire, but we love both the variants.

Since the women and men dress up their best during the holiday season, it is unfair to NOT sing this song for your beloved. It is a popular track at weddings, but the song can also be a part of the holiday playlist.

#7 1999 – Prince

Who cares what year it is? Prince’s songs are priceless! 1999 is an upbeat number that suggests that the world might just end tomorrow. Why not make tonight the greatest night ever?

This is a classic number to dance on! It is ideal for New Year’s Eve, my friend.

#8 Please come home for Christmas — the EAGLES

This classic track is a tasty cover of a Christmas blues originally by Charles Brown. It is a nice alternative to some of the snappier seasonal tunes you’ll hear at this time of year.

The song eschews some of the more obvious trappings of hit Yuletide numbers and that warm Don Henley vocal just glows like a yuletide fireplace.

“Please Come Home For Christmas” was released during the late fall of 1978 and became a holiday hit by reaching number 18 on the BILLBOARD MAGAZINE Pop Singles Chart.

#9 I say a little prayer – Aretha Franklin

We don’t want you complaining that we didn’t add a ‘thanksgiving song.’

Aretha Franklin’s voice is powerful, and the song is popular all across the globe. As the Christmas bells are about to ring, this song should be a part of your holiday playlist. Perhaps you could do karaoke with friends and family.

#10 What a wonderful world – Louis Armstrong

It IS a wonderful world! Sometimes, we are unable to see the beauty of the world. Listen to this beautiful song by Louis Armstrong, and forget about all your worries.

The song is versatile and can be played throughout the holiday season..

What’s On Your Holiday Playlist?

Everyone has a different musical ‘taste.’ However, the above-mentioned songs have widespread appeal!

Some of those songs have the most beautiful and meaningful lyrics. If you want more holiday songs, play anything by Nina Simone, Michael Buble, or Billy Joel. At Hope Fragrances, we also love:

Carol of the Bells –Destiny’s Child

This Christmas – John Legend

I’ll be home for Christmas – Michael Buble (or any other Christmas songs he sings!!)

Last Christmas – Wham!

Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays — *NSYNC

Run Rudolph Run- Chuck Berry

Mistletoe –Colbie Caillat

If you are in the mood to dance, the Jonas Brothers will keep you hooked. But, the classics will remain etched in our hearts forever.

Speaking of thoughtful gifts, you can play the beautiful song, ‘scent of a woman‘, and gift her a sweet-smelling perfume. Tell her that she lights up your world, and you want her fragrance to linger on you for hours. We have added patchouli, plum, vanilla, amber, and white flowers in our Hope Night Fragrance. It adds a hint of sensuousness to your woman.

Go ahead, and create a playlist before you sweep her off the feet for a dance. Make sure your holiday playlist has all the above-mentioned songs. They will uplift your mood and will put you in a festive mood.
