Day to day, I don’t wear much makeup. But when I do, I usually opt for a minimalist look that’s both simple and easy to do in 10 minutes or less.
As a shopping editor, I’m very lucky to have access to hundreds of beauty products and be able to test them out in my real life. Although I have several drawers filled to the brim with items I’m excited about, I typically find myself coming back to the same few products that give me a barely-there makeup look. Funnily enough, those same products are also the ones I get the most questions about — and the most compliments on from my friends.

7. Hope Fragrances Night Body Butter, $75

While this coconut oil-based body butter is more of a skin care product than makeup, it made my list due to the sheer amount of compliments it’s gotten me lately. Complete with notes of vanilla, patchouli and amber, this rich body product absorbs quickly, smells amazing and leaves my skin looking incredibly hydrated.
